" I am happy to see your home!! Youwill have a slight fever for about a week so keep close tabs on it so it doesnt get to high. Call your Dr if you have any concerns. You have to remember you had major surgery and parts of you were removed for good and your body is trying to adjust to it. Your other organs will settle into that empty area but it will take time. right now its just fluids. Take it easy!! Dont push your body. Rest when you have to. you will have good days and bad days. I'm just happy to see you back! Lots of Hugs....Staci "

" thanks everyone!! well i am feeling soooo darn good right now and i a 5 days post-op. i am going to the mall! yeah! well my parents are driving of course, they came in from florida to help my husband take care of me and the kids, so i will be just riding along and happy to get out of the house:) and every little section in the mall has benches so while they shop i can rest. i am sooo happy now! but for the first few days, i won't lie, they were hell! for me the hardest part was not the surgery or incisions, cause we all expect some pain, but the worst was the gas!!!!!!!! the gas they blow you up with, it killed my right side and my right shoulder! it took about 3 days for that to absorb and actually disipate. but i have ulcers too, so the acid in my stomach was unreal, i got really sick from that. so if it wouldn't have been for my stomach problems i would have been feeling better just a few days after. so for other people going into this, that should make them feel relieved!!lol! anyway hope all is well for all of you guys! thanks for all the support!!
