" Hi Heather-I'm sorry you are hurting. Following my hysterectomy, I actually had no pain whatsoever, but they had to take everything out because of endometriosis. They probably want you to come in to the doctors' office to make sure everything is going as it is supposed to and I'm sure that part of the way they gauge that is your pain level and how your pain level responds to the meds. It's a good idea to get checked out, and I would think they would increase your dosage after that if the current dosage is not working. Another thing I thought of is that when they do surgeries, I think they pump some kind of gas into the abdomen-It may be so they have more room to work, I don't know exactly-but I have heard other people say it causes some soreness afterwards-I had that after I had my gallbladder removed-I believe if you rest that side against a pillow it is supposed to help-I'm not sure, Sweetie-ask your doctor about that, too and I sure hope you feel better soon-Hugs, Sarasmile "

" Well, went to the Dr. and all he gave me was a script for the same exact med/dose and I can't even refill it till the 23rd! On a good point, I am in less pain than I was, slept very well too. Now all I have to do is get my hubby to clean up the house! "
