Hi ya all scheduled for a total Hsyto on June 1. The doctor can not go via the the v so will be having the cut very scared never had anything more then a out patient... Nice to know there is a place to go to get some insight

I had mine almost 5 years ago and like you my Dr could not go through the v so i had around 15 stitches in my belly, i was in the hospital for a week after but that is because i have other medical issues as well. It will go good and after the healing time you will feel good again i know i do.

Hi,
I had mine done on may 6,i can understand about being scared!! I was and still am lol. It is not as bad as you think. The only thing I can say is have good thoughts, wear really,really loose clothing,have plenty of juice in the house when you return,pick up stool softners,extra tynel and rest.. good luck and good wishes!!!

I had a total abdominal hysterectomy, ovarys removed on Feb 09. I couldnt go vaginal cause of endo. I seen you are having your hyst. tomorrow. My thoughts are with you. Take care and remember to take it easy when you get home!! xxx Staci
