I was just wondering how long is normal for post op bleeding. I had a vaginal hysterectomy with lap assist. It has been exactly 2 weeks today. It is not alot of blood, just spotting. I wasn't sure how long this normally goes on. Any responses are greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance.

i was told by obgyn nurse it can last up to 3 weeks..it just depends on each person.....mine was on 9/2 and I still spot like you do. Hang in there! But remember, when it finally quits---we no longer have to buy any more pads or tampons!! YAAAYYY!!!! =)
