mri after my Hysterectomy

I had been having problems with my periods, every 2 weeks for about 2 yrs. It was getting to the mpoint where the pain was just to much to handle so I went in to a gyn. I went through several as they passed my pain off. I finally found one who would listen to me.I had a lap but he didnt see any endo but I was told it didnt mean I didnt have it. well, through trying everything to slow or stop my periods, nothing worked and I was bed ridden for 3 moths due to the extreme pain. I finally went in for a total abdominal hysterectomy with ovarys removed. I was put on estrogen and when I went back in for my results from the biopsy it shocked me to learn I not only had Adenomyosis I have endo as well. I'm guessing it was micro or clear. I am still in pain all the time. Lower back (tail bone area) and pelvic pain. I went in to see an endo specialist this time cause my gyn said he couldnt help me any further since I have nothing left. He asked me if my gyn did a biopsy on my adhesions he had to remove during my lap and I told him no. I guess he should have by the look on his face. well, he scheduled me to see a pain management specialist to rule out pinched nerves or bad discs before seeing me again. I went in and talked with this specialist on the 9th of June and had my MRI on the 12th. I found out my Dr was going on vacation for 2 weeks! so I cant se him till the 30th! thats almost 3 weeks. I still have a week to go. I called them last week to see if a nurse could give me the results since they told me at the begining they could. Well, the receptionist said "They hate to give the results" and that she didnt think anyone would give it to me. I would have to wait till the doctor comes back. Does anyone think I have the right to know and not have to wait? I'm tired of the pain and I dont think they understand! Should I try to call back again?
also I thought about going to the place where I got my MRI and asking for a copy of the results so I could read it myself. They arent that hard t read bbut Idont want to piss my doctor off either? any help would be great..I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO....painful:0(

" Isnt that the worst rule that these doc's have.. At one point in the beginning of this ordeal they told me that if I get a letter in the mail something is wrong. (nice) if I dont than everything is ok.. nice. Well it turned out that something was wrong and they called me to come in but after I freaked out they finally told me on the phone.. I was lucky enough to have his assistant give me the news maybe you can try that. I would call her for every little question that I had and than some!!! Made myself a total pain in the a** but didnt care i figured it was my life, my results and my need to know right now... Call again and speak to his assistant. Good luck and lots of prayers! "

" I just got the results. The more I was typing the more pissed off I got. Well, everything came back unremarkable so there is nothing wrong with my back. The MRI came back good. They dont know the why. I called my endo specialist and talked with the nurse and she's going to talk with the doctor tomorrow and let me know the date of my laparotomy. I'm 2 hours away from him so they dont want me to waist 4 hours just to tell me I'm going in for one. The bad thing is it takes 3-4 weeks to recover but I'm finally getting to the bottomof all this mess and soon I will be able to go back to work! "
