I am getting ready to go in for my hysterectomy- i am very nervous about being thrown into menopause, mainly because my mother is going through menopause right now and it has been really hard for her and it has been a long time. I am nervous that mine might be just as bad as hers. What can i expect to go through?

Hello shawners. What type of hysterectomy are you having? abdominal?? Vaginal?? are you having everything removed?? partial?? This makes a big difference as well as your menopause you will be going through. I need a little more to help you. Thank You...Staci
