ok i'm totally freaking out. I spent ALL DAY in two different ER's because I thought my uterus was falling out. the doctir said it was most likely a fibroid and chekced me out and asked me to come back on MON to his office to schedule a srugery to have it removed.... HOWEVER...now that I am home i cant help but to take a little mirror and try to see what is going on up there. I can see the fibriod clear as day and I am afraid that if i have to take a bowel movement or violently sneeze the thing is going to prolpase and be hanging out of me... it is SAT and monday seems like a long ways away... Does anyone have advice or a similar situation to calm my nerves?
I am in no pain (a little crampling) and my bleeding is not that bad but I can see that fibroid trying to protrude out everytime i sit on the toilet? Totally freaking out!!! please help. Thanks

" If you have had your hysterectomy already, then you have no uterus to fall out. No a sneeze or BM is not going to cause the utuerus to "fall" out. All that will be coming out is more uterus lining. Don't worry about it just go on and schedule your TAH.
I just had mine on Jan 15 and am doing great no more bleeding or anything yee haw. "

" My MIL had her uterus hang out of her and she would have to push it back up. She eventually had a hysterectomy due to it. She was lucky though, she got to her her's vaginally (which is much easier on healing that a TAH) "

" I phrased that wrong, I wish we could edit.

Her cervix would stick out, not the uterus. Since the cervix is the bottom of the uterus, that would stick out first. "
