I have tried the vivelle patch and got bad headache, and crying on the 1st day...pain and bloating of my breast the whole time on them.. went up 2 sizes..to a 34E... so I quite them,now I am on a bi identical cream a low dose of estrogen, testosterone and progesterone too... now I am having all the menopause symptoms.. like hot flashes, chills, like my thermostat is off, and depressed, and even aches. and fatigue.
BTW I am 3month post op TAH... HAS ANYONE TAKEN HORMONE REPLACEMENT THAT HAS WORKED? AND WHAT IS IT? any advice will do.. feel like I am losing my mind... thanks Posted on 01/15/09, 01:01 am |

I am on Vivelle and the symtoms lasted about 2-3 weeks and then went away. It takes awhile for your body to get accustomed to hormones (just the BC pill) It takes a couple of months before your body levels out again.
