I waited 4 weeks after my TAH before I started driving. Now, at week 7, I've started working half days and driving. Is it the driving that's aggravated the left side where I had the most scar tissue or my activity level? Help! It's only day 2 and I'm really struggling with the pain and fatigue again.

" I had more pain where my ovary and bowel were stuck to my abdomen. I noticed mine would hurt more at that stage when I did too much. But by 8 weeks, my pain was pretty much gone.

Maybe you could call the nurse at your doc's office and ask. (hugs) "

" Yeah, I had lots of pain for a while. Just be cautious. I agree with the previous reply, maybe you should get your doc's opinion. Mine was a lot of scar tissue. Hope things continue to improve for you. "

" when I went to my new dr he told me something I did not know... cause I keep wondering why my sides hurt far away from wear my uterus was and he explained why.... with the TAH they cut you open for the incision and they knot up your muscles, skin and everything in the way on both sides and then they close you back up and he called it a knot on each side sometimes takes longer to heal than anything else... not sure if that will help you, but it did me cause I did not have to worry about what was hurting and why?
wish everyone more painfree days...

Michelle "
