I am an adult with Hypotonia. I have gone to P.T. a few times to help when I get hurt but I this cost money and I don't have that much. Thus I have had to stop going. By rights I need to still be going there. This would help me alot so maby I would get hurt so bad and clear up was is hurt.
Thus since there is not much out there for Hypotonia. I am tring to promote awareness that way maby in time they will know more and then other kids will know what will come as they get older, I think it is too late for me I am going to have to find out as I go alone. Right now I am asking people to right into the Oprah show and ask them to do a stegment on Hypotonia. I'll send a note too. My son has hypotonia and I suspect I suffer from it as well. I've always just thought I was unathletic and lazy, but now things are starting to make sense. He is receiving services but I'm trying to find more information on adult hypotonia. I just wonder how I go about finding out if I have it. Not a lot of info out there!
