Ok, this is an odd question but how does it feel when you get better? Is it a gradual feeling better or do you just wake up one day feeling better? I've been taking syntroid for 2 1/2 weeks and I've been feeling better but the last two days I didn't want to get up out of bed. Is it normal to have some bad days in the beginning of treatment?

It takes some time for your blood level of the drug to do it's job, in fact any change is dosage is given a minimum of one month before retesting your levels. The improvement will be gradual, to answer your question.

Yes, it can take up to 8 weeks for the T4 to build up in your system. I know it seems like a very long time and it is so hard to wait to feel better.
Hang in there and stay away from stress as much as possible.
