Ya know, when I reported to my doctor that vice-grip-type pain in my elbow that radiated down to every single bone in my hand, she told me she didn't think it was being caused by my thyroid. (I was 4 wks. into an inadequate T3 dose increase).
She tested me for Lyme, RA and OA with all negative results.

I was an avid weight-lifter and my doc told me the same thing when I told him I couldn't lift the same amt of weight I'd been lifting for years...or complete a circuit without exhaustion, pain, and what I described as bone-pain or "pain that is bone deep". He kept tagging me with "pulled muscles, strained ligaments, etc". I'd had all of that at some point in my life and I KNEW it was not the same.
It will get better once you get some thyroid meds and optimize your levels...I promise.
