Advice:
How do I tell if it's the real thing?

I have recently been put on what I think is Synthroid. However, the bottle says Synthroid and then under it, it says levothyroid. Can anyone please tell me (I would prefer not to have to call the pharmacist to ask) if it is the true Synthroid (since it does say Synthroid on it) or is it a generic (since it does say Levothyroid)? Thanks everyone.

" Check with the pharmacist to be sure.

You are right about being concerned, I didn't start getting better until a new Dr removed from the generic & put me on Synthroid.

However, sometimes the insurance may not cover it.
