I've been diagnosed for almost 10 years, on Synthroid & Prozac. I get irritable spells so bad...blew up at work and now my job is hanging on the line. It's like a volcano & pow, I'm gone...
Does anyone else experience this? Is this common with thyriod?? I am so scared. I am going to a therapist next week... Please any help would be gratefully appreciated. Posted on 09/18/09, 11:09 pm |

I end up having problems, I'm not sure if its when my levels change or the fact that I'm perimeno. I believe its when my levels are off though. I get very on edge.

I think it is very common with people with Graves' Disease or any thyroid condition. Sometimesd as you say you just can not control it. I thought I was. That is till I wrote my book and my husband asked to put in something. It really did open my eyes to how I was acting.
It is a good idea to let them know at work about your disease and what to expect. Some people try counting when they feel it coming on. Does not always help.
