Ok so where do i start - i havent been very well for a few years now it started after i had my daughter 10 years ago - i had anxiety and ibs kicked in 2 years later, since then i have had depression, headahces, tummy pains,join andmuscles aches, crying for no reason, am severly cold in winter and extreemly hot in summer, i have funny vision and it feels like i cant focus howver eye tests have all come back fine, i gte ringing in my ears i get croaky throats that never turn into t aocld i have this wierd painy tingly in side of my right neck under my jaw, i sweat like theres no tomorrow and i have put on about 4 stone now - i am now heavier than i was just before i gave birth to my daughter ( and i put 5 stone on with the pregnancy but i lost it all again) i get numbless and tingling in the feet and hands, i get nauseas and really tired n drained i get trouble with my sinus's. I have had surgery laparoscopy to see if hey could find anything in my pelvis due to pain and wierd periods but only found some small bowel adhesions which they removed 4 months ago.

My mum has underactive thyroid and is on meds - my friends mum said she is too and alot of my symptoms sound the same as what she gets - i have managed to speak to my doc on the phone who has ordered blood tests for wednesday which is great but what should i be making sure he checks for ? i remember a few years ago i had a test and my previous doc said i was borderline at 4.9 thats all i know however when i said to my doc today he said yes that is very borderline - i have no idea wat this ths t4 t3 business is can somsone help me so i can at least look lik ei know what im talking about and wat im trying to pursuade him of lol - also can anyone say wether this does actually sound like underactive throid or not ?
