Fasting hypoglycemia

Does anyone out there have fasting hypoglycemia due to high insulin levels? If so, what do you do to prevent overnight lows? I've had this most of my life, having to eat or have something about every 11/2 hours, it's especially a challenge overnight, I read a while back about cornstarch helping with lows overnight, I asked my doctor about this, but he never heard of it.
Any feed back about this or anything else, would be appreciated. My thanks in advance.

" Have you tried eating a good sized snack of protein (maybe cottage cheese and/or boiled egg or protein drink) just before you go to bed? Some DS responders once reported they kept a protein snack on their bedside table to eat/drink when they woke up in the middle of the night, so that they wouldn't have to get up. It's worth a try, huh? "
