I get the shakes and forget things and get the jitters and light headed resulting sometimes in passing out. I will be truthful i do not eat a proper diet cause food sounds yucky to me and if i do eat i only can stomach 4 or 5 bites before i am full. I need a proper diet and am working on that cause im lucky to eat 1 meal a day and i know that's not good . I need help trying to keep my low sugar in check.

" I know what you mean. I have been one to eat just once, late in the day for years and years. I honestly believe it is a huge contributing factor in my current reactive hypoglycemia. The thought of someone eating 3 meals a day always baffled me.

I developed some strange eating habits over the years and I honestly think that subconsciously, I knew that food was making me sick (because I was eating the bad stuff). I got to where I hated everything about food. Shopping, cooking, cleaning up, eating.

In trying to get this thing under control, I attempted to eat several small meals each day and just couldn't do it. I would sit and stare at the food and just be disgusted and not at all hungry.
This is not a great alternative but it has worked for me. I picked up some of the Atkins Advantage Shakes.
Disclaimer: They are a little expensive and it takes a couple to get used to the taste. They have soy which can be a problem for some people. It is much better to have natural whole foods.
End Disclaimer. ;)
I started having 1 in the late morning,1 in the afternoon and then a healthy meal for dinner. They are only 11 ozs so it is easy to get them down. Just down it and it's done before you know you're full. It only takes a couple of days for you to actually be hungry when you are supposed to be and be able to exchange them for real food.

By not eating, you are doing such damage to your body. You have to do whatever you can to get past it. Your body has to have whole food. It isn't an option, you have to.
You can do it! Hang in there. "

" I would advise seeing your medical doctor for a complete physical. Be frank with him/her about how you feel. Be sure they run a full blood test, etc. I know that the thought of food sometimes is yucky to me, as well, since I have to eat every 2 hours. Like today, when I ate at 12:30 and then at 2:30 I looked at the clock and thought, "oh, man I don't wanna eat AGAIN." But I did. I have to make myself. "
