I need to get my blood sugar under control, I also need to get some of this weight off of me. I know I need to cut the carbs for the blood sugar, but what about the weight? How many carbs a day can I have and still drop the weight? Thanks so much.

You can try the sugar busters, South Beach, Zone or Atkins diet. I am on the atkins diet. It's tough but worth it becuase if you follow it exactly, you will find out what foods you may be allergic too, you will loose weight and inches, you'll feel so much better and break you sugar addiction. I've been very successful on this diet 10 yrs ago and I'm on it again becuase I've gain 20 lbs in one year from low blood sugar and peri menopause. Good luck to you!

Do you do atkins for hypoglycemia, or to lose weight...or both? thanks i think atkins is good for my hypoglycemia too, but the first few weeks are tough and I crave sugar even more. Then I cheat and start the roller coaster over and over.
