I am going to be happy today, and think of happy things. I have my health, a great marriage, and a house, and a job (something many don't have these days), and my daughters are healthy and smart and funny, and I have friends, and soon it won't be cold anymore and I can get out and walk again (maybe even swim soon!)

So it seems that leaving him alone to find his way is paying off. He has been asking husband and me to sit down so that he can tell us what is on his mind.
