1/2 cup water
1 bag black tea
1 3-inch cinnamon stick
2 cups skim milk
2 tablespoons raw sugar or honey
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom

A little pre-workout snack of mine, on the days I am able to workout:
1/3 cup dry couscous
1/2 cup apple juice (or water)
1 tsp olive oil
1 pinch salt (less than 1/8 tsp!!!)
1 small fuji apple - diced small
cinnamon/apple pie spice to taste
1 tsp honey

Well, two days ago feeling like crap would have been an understatement. Yesterday my blood pressure and heartrate were ridiculously high (161/102 - HR 138) so I called my Internal Med docto who added back in one of the drugs just pulled on Monday.
Anyway, at least my BP is down in a more normal range but my heart rate is still a little higher than normal. But I slept last night ...1 Recommendation -
