I was told this week that I need to have my thyroid removed because I have nodules all over and through it. Has anyone had this surgery?

I'm currently researching surgeons in my area for a TT. I haven't made up my mind completely yet as I want to get a second opinion from another endo., and still kind of researching everything. I actually think it might be a better option for me than the RAI because I too have nodules. Keep me posted on what you decide. I know it sounds scary, but a lot of people have had great success with it. Research surgeons in your area (I think you can check their credentials, etc. on the Bomex website).
Best of luck, K :O)
