going crazy???

I just found out that although I was once had hypothyroidism, I am now have hyperthyroidism. I have been battling major anxiety and depression. Someone told me that some of this could be due to overmedication. (My doctor recently cut the dosage back and also gave me Lexapro for the anxiety). Does this sound logical to anyone and have you heard of people 'feeling crazy' and out of sorts with hyperthyroidism?

" Hi! Are you on meds now and what are they? Have you had your levels checked lately? Do you have a copy of them? You could post them and we could see where you are.Sometimes you can be over medicated on Synthroid and can go hyper.Yes people can feel a little crazy when hyper, everything goes faster, heart, brain, bowels, etc... " I don't have the exact numbers right now, but I'll call the doctor and find out. I know that whatever scale she told me about, I was below the lowest range and she told me that the .250 dosage that I was on was too high and she dropped me down to .200. I have to be rechecked in a month "

" Your thyroid plays a major role in how you feel mentally and emotionally. You're not crazy, you sound pretty normal for someone hyperthyoid. Keep getting tested, and if you're hyper you should be on meds! "

" I called the doc and they told me my TSH level is .13 and it should be between .5 and 5.0. Therefore, mine is suppose to be under the range, and she decreased my dosage. It doesn't make much sense to me though. I just think I would feel better if I knew that this medical condition could be the reason for the anxiety and irrational thoughts. "

" A lot of symptoms can go hand in hand with both hyper and hypo. I'm sure it's the Graves causing your issues either way. "
