Hi, i just joined today... and thought i would ask if anyone has had similiar experience and advice of those experiences?
I have had Hashimoto disease (underactive thyroid) for the last 9 years of my life, being 26 and only starting to mature :).. its taken me a while to get my levels right.. i am now on 4x200mcg and 3x100mcg of thyroxine weekly, due to the help from a endroconoligsts... Recently in the last couple of days, i had a colonoscopy and a biospy was taken to test for ulcerative colitis. In the report it said i had moderately severe proctitis involving the lower rectum.. eg. UC I am writing to ask... if anyone has dealt with these two ongoing, life long diseases, and how the drugs go when mixed?.. i have not been prescribed drugs yet for UC.. two weeks until my next appointment with biopsy results. Also, does anyone have psorriosis with these symptons? Posted on 05/24/09, 09:05 pm |

Hi and welcome! :-)
I don't have such experience that you are asking. You'd might want to post your question at the hypOthyroidism board. I know it is not uncommon to get more than one autoimmune diseases and I have several. Take care... :-)
