hungry bones syndrome - post parathyroidectomy...

I'm new to this forum - had a parathyroidectomy last December due to hyperactivity - calcium levels immediately dropped to normal where they have remained since - however, now I've been diagnosed as having hungry bones syndrome as a result of the op... symptoms being aches, pains, tingling, numbness, cramps, fatigue, etc coming and going in much the same way as did pre-op symptoms (which were similar but didn't include tingling, numbness, cramps).

According to the endocrinologist who performed op this is possibly going to 'go away' one day - but also may never go away... either way, it will not he assures me, become anything sinister.

Wondering if anyone else has been diagnosed with HBS as a result of parathyroidectomy and if so the outcome or how they have dealt with it.
