" I hate not being able to stay up late and go out to bars and clubs with friends. I need my sleep, and can't drink because of my meds anyway.

Caleb--I'm with you there! I've been feeling the same way. I decided to go on a dream vacation to some national parks this month, anyway. I threw a suitcase of braces and supports and meds in the car and did a two week hiking/camping trip! It took a lot of planning, and it wasn't as active as I would have liked, but it was great! Paid the price for it this last week, but it was totally worth it!

Perfectly- that's awesome. I've definitely expanded my hobbies and interests I can do from a couch! I like the idea of finding ways to give back. I miss volunteering.

Rubberbands- that's been a problem for me. I finally got a great job writing and editing, which I can do from bed on bad days (and love). Try to train for a job you can do at a desk. I am so glad I've been trained for desk-work. If i'd gone in to teaching or nursing or something that requires being on my feet all day, I don't know how I would manage. But finding work until you're qualified for something is really hard, but you'll get by. Good luck! "

" Sorry. What natural pain relievers, physical therapy, aquatic therapy, things like that? I figure there has to be a way to reduce the dosage to non-hazy without causing too much pain. "

" I hate the fact that my whole life has changed and I can't do the things I used to do. I can't think anymore. I can't even stay on a diet because I forget I am on one... "

" I hate that I couldn't finish school, I hate that I have to limit myself in terms of physical fitness, I hate that I'm so tired that I can easily sleep 14 hours a night, but more than anything I hate that the amount of time I can play guitar for has slowly but surely come down to 10 minutes max =(

Does anyone have any tips for avoiding hand pain while playing guitar or doing anything else that involves exercising the fingers!?! "
