I have severe hyperhidrosis which affects my feet and in very hot weather my underarms. I have tried everything under the sun with everything being unsuccesful.
I am planning on doing botox shots next week. Has anyone had any success with it? I heard it works almost instantly. I am so desperate for relief I am really hoping this will help especially with the odor, it is quite embarassing especially in the summer. Posted on 07/06/09, 11:07 am |

Thank you for your reply. I know it will be painful but right now I will try anything. I am sorry to hear it did not work for you. I am really hoping it will work for me but am skeptical about it. I will let you know how it works out.

I tried injections under the arms. Yes, it did hurt and the results were very short lived compared to the expense, pain and uncertainty of side affects from the poison. Yes, I believe it is poison, a toxin that paralyzes the muscles and cells.
Oh god, what lengths we will go to for this damn problem.
