" hi...i'm 15 and a girl and i've had hyperhidrosis for the past 4 years of my high school life. i'm trying to be positive, but no one in my entire family or any of my friends know about this. i've kept it hidden for so long, and i'm tired of it. please tell me what i should do to at least tell my mom. " hiii tlspatches. =) first of all, you shouldn't be afraid of telling your mom about the problem. Parents love their children, no matter what.

I have hyperhidrosis too, since i was 9 or so. From my experience, some people won't understand your (our) situation, while some might. Don't waste your time on those who can't understand, theey're just annoying. lol

So i guess you should start off by telling your mom, or your dad (whoever u find is closest to you, maybe a sister or a brother?) but you don't have to tell them if you think it's not that big of a deal. But if you need someone to talk to at home, im sure your parents will be the best choice.

I hope i did'nt confuse you.. Write me a mssg if you feel like talking. =) "
