I suffer from axillary hyperhidrosis and I desperatly need to find a treatment. Has anybody used the product Odaban? All the reveiws say it's brilliant, but I'm a bit sceptical. I've had enough of this problem, it's making me very unhappy and I need a treatment. Does Odaban work? Is botox really the only option? How much does that cost?

" I tried Odaban, it didn't work for me. I tried botox, it's not really a viable solution, unless you like having your hands/arm pits numb.

For me, under very stressful situations, the sweat could overcome any treatment i tried to employ "

" I have not tried Odaban, is it like Drysol? I tried that and it helped slightly but not for very long. Plus it was really rough on the skin, irratant. Botox was expensive about 190.00 just for the botox. I don't know how much he charged for injecting it. The results just were to short lived for the cost, pain and risk of side affects using it all the time. I don't trust our drug companies one whit!!!! I'm very leary of them. I don't like using anything if I can help it. I use my Ativan when I'm around others but even that makes me wonder....

Minimizinig the stress is the only relief I know of for me. Someday soon I hope to have a less stressful life, hopefully that will calm the body down and make the hydrosis subside. It took many years for me to develope the whole body hydrosis so I figure it will take several years to undo it. I'll keep looking for things though, sometimes the risk of using stuff or trying something outweighs my smarts, but anything to help. I may have to check on the Odaban. "
