i had a bilateral sympathectomy around 5 months ago for excessive sweating under my arms and hands now the good weather is coming ive found that my back and chest is sweating in great amounts leaving my clothes soaking with persperation is there anthing i can do that can either stop this from happening or even reduce it as i dont want to be wearing black clothes till i die to hide my sweat marks many thanks if anyone can help out there

" Sounds like you are suffering with compensatory sweating which most ETS patients suffer with after the opp. The only thing I can think of that may help is Oxbuytin, or detrol LA. They reduce the sweating.

Most people after ETS suffer with this and it is something the dr's do tell you. Once they have switched off the T2-T3 it has to compensate somewhere else and will move to different parts of you body. Good luck and you can add me if you wish, I run a hyperhidrosis group and I suffer with it too.
