Huntington's Disease Support Group

does any one know a good doctor for huntington's or a crecialbe facility? Blood work came back positive which is a let down but also expected. my problem is the doctor who did not evaluate my finacee at any level!! only wanting to treat symtoms with pills as they arise burt ask no questions about where she is health wise and stated absoulutly nothing! nothing about what to expect as syptoms or onset of any conditions, all that was discussed out of the doctors mouth was about genetisis about having kids. i had to interupted to get her off a subject that is not even a reality yet, i love my finacee and i want her and the probelms at hand to be address, all i know about the disease is what i have looked up and researched on my own on the net. this doctor should be expaining things to my fiancee and me as well, i am no doctor, so me addressing symptoms to her is not a very well found and i have no clear understanding or course of action, but to offer nothing!! and when questions about healthy eating w/ the bluberries, walnuts, salmon and the fish oil and crytine nothing the doctor literally said that these foods will have no effect in any postive way! what? even for a healthy person these items are to be better for you and to someone ill no good at all? i think we got a pill pusher for a doctor, but being postive i know now we got the test done and the results back and now we can address things on a broader scale. i will do anything to the end of the earth to help , assist and encourage my finacee.we are in oklahoma but i am willing to travel or even relocate if that is what it takes! ps got the dress, looking to set date very soon hopefully by Ocotober. wish us luck God bless all. and any recommendations is greatly appreciated!
