The other day, I was chatting with a friend online. He was at home and a storm was raging outside, and we started talking about storms, and thunder and lightening.
This reminded me of a time I was at home, and the lightening flashed in my room, and for a second, I thought I saw an angel in the lightening. I wrote this poem:

Rainbow Illusion
I find myself treading water in this ocean of rainbow illusion
Around me swirls colors of emotion, of pain, of activity, of right and wrong
The shades of grey, the shades of me, separate us
Somewhere buried deep inside of me exists colors, too

I need to work on some poetry for a card of remembrance I am sending to family with a picture. I hope I like it. I ordered the pics sight unseen. I also have to arrange for a pastor or friend to pray over her anniversary date. I want to free a dove but I haven't much time to work tihis out....heres my ideas....just toying with words

hey all hey to me i have had a pretty restful day i was able to cook breakfast for my family and everyone seemed happy i think i will tempt everyones taste buds, i made grits, scrambled eggs , biscuits, orange juice, guess what i even was able to make dinner i made saute cabbage, baked leg quarters, cornbread, and i managed to sleep between meals but overall i had a pretty mellow day, my mo...1 Recommendation1 Comment -

I hate boys!!!!! They all suck down here! all of them. Theres this one guy who says he likes me, well no, who says he loves me, but then wont get with me!!!! Then has the nerve to get in a mood with me when i get a boyfriend!! It doesnt sound all that bad, and it wouldnt be. Sometimes it feels like im screaming at the top of my lungs and no one can hear.
