Homeschooling Support Group

Hi all, my husband and I are having a hard time with our kid in public school.He's in 6th grade and this year he's having to take notes and no study guides sent home, he's not doing well at all, his dad studies with him in the evenings and it's a fight from the get go we can't read what he writes and really he's not up to doing the work altogether. We don't want him in special ed. and don't know if we will be any good at homeschooling, but they have a lot of work and he can't keep up he can't organize either. Is there a homeschool place out there that is for adhd kids? We live in Va.
