I would sure like to homeschool but even though we do have highschool education, everyone knows school changes so much that what we knew yesterday has changed today. My question is where can we get help homeschooling. Is there somewhere we can get lessons sent to us through the mail and help him do it and send it back to be checked out to be graded. (Is this too much wishful thinking) I mean we're stressed to the limit with him in school. There's got to be someway we can have peace with him learning and still getting a good education. There is also the problem with him taking up with the wrong kids that don't do well in school. I'd like to get this kid grown up knowing something but also not learning dirty jokes or other filth that the other kids are bringing from homes that don't hold the same moral standards as we do..ya know!. We have a christian school about 30 min. away but we live in a rural area and mountains to cross and snow and gas being a problem "what can we do". Is there anyone to help us please. THANK YOU

Hi, I know that it can be overwhelming thinking of taking on the task of teaching your child. But you already do teach and don't realize that you are. There are lots of cirriculums available. Depending on the one you choose. Some are using text books, some use booklets and some are done on the computer and grade the answers for you with you grading only the written work. Do a search on the internet and call some of the suppliers....they will be very helpful to you. Also, do a search on the iternet for homeschooling forums....you may be surprised at the number of folks homeschooling in your area.
Blessings, GG
