Does anyone have any ideas for someone who is trying to teach a child at home while the child is always angry and acts out?

Have you had him tested for things like ODD. My son has it and I have found that he response best to positive reinforcement.

Have you tried using a reward system? Each time he works well also,praise him well and tell him that it is really nice to see him being a nice boy instead of angry.
