HELLO EVERYONE MY NAME IS BETH AND IM NEW HERE.
MY FAMILY IS BEING FACED WITH A VERY STRESSFUL SITUATION. YOU SEE ABOUT 4 MONTHS AGO MY HUSBAND AND I WERE FACED WITH SOME VERY TROUBLESOME FINANCIAL PROBLEMS FROM JOB HOUR CUT BACK AND MY HUSBANDS HEALTH GOT BAD. WE THEN FELL BEHIND ON OUR MORTAGE PAYMENTS AND OTHER BILLS. WELL TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT WE ARE NOW BEING FACED WITH A FORECLOSURE. I HAVE TRIED MANY AGCENYS AND OTHER HELP BUT GOT NOWHERE. I HAVE TRIED TO GET INTO AN APARTMENT BUT NO PLACE IS WILLING TO GIVE US A CHANCE. AND AS FAR AS MY FAMILY GOES THEY REALLY DONT CARE SO MUCH. MY MOM AND DAD HAVE TRIED TO HELP WHERE THEY CAN BUT CAN ONLY DO SO MUCH AND THEY HAVE NO ROOM IN THERE APT TO LET US STAY THERE. I FEAR FOR MY CHILDREN SO MUCH TWO OF THEM HAVE MEDICAL ISSUES AND REQUIRE MANY DOCTORS APTS, AND MEDICATION. I TRUELY AM SCARED BY OCT 1ST WE ARE GOING TO BE HOMELESS, I HAVE CALLED SOME OF THE HOMELESS SHELTERS, BUT WITH THE RISE OF PEOPLE GOING HOMELESS THERE ARE NOT MANY TAKING PEOPLE IN OR THEY ARE FOR SHOR TERM ONLY. And we live in the U.S.A. I'm sorry to hear this there are just so many people out there in the same spot I don't know what is going to happen to us. I'm not homeless but I'm a step away from it. It's a joke going to SSI bye the time you do get help it's too late the damage is done.

Have you tried Department of Social Services? I know you have to be completely broke & no money in the bank, but if you qualify you can get some help. My heart goes out to you and I will keep you in my prayers.

Hi! I used to be homeless in the 90s. I know that things will get better, when you are in the situation it seems like nothing positive would happen; waiting for things to smooth out is hard. My family and I had a hard time finding a stable home. I will keep you in my prayers; we had help from a church who prayed with us. Can you get help from a church?
