I was just diagnosed with Lymphoma this week. I just had a biopsy so we can find out which type and which stage this is in. Im freaking out a little but I know in the end ill beat this thing. The doctors are almost certain its Hodgkins. Ill keep everyone posted on whats going on its just kinda scary right now. Im gonna have to have bone marrow testing(nervous about this) and chemo. Im nervous of all this but having the support is helping a lot. How did everyone handle all this? Its just crazy cause' im only 23 and then its like BOOM heres a bomb dropped on ya! lol. " I'm sure you'll do fine, Hodgkin's has one of the highest cure rates.

As far as the biopsy and Chemo go, it won't help much being nervous, just remember that this test is very helpful in determining what your Chemo road map will be.

Just take it day by day, always keeping in mind the day in which this is all over, and your on to the next thing. :)

Take up a relaxing hobby like piano, etc. and its ok to just ask to be alone if you don't feel like being around people sometimes, they'll understand.

Always Focus On The Good That Lies Ahead. "

" I am new to with all also. I had a melanoma that led to a pet scan that let to finding out I have stage 2A Hodgkins. Pretty insane for me. Especially with no symptoms and I am not even in the age range. I am still in a fog. But as for the bone marrow test, it is not pleasant but the anxiety is even worse. I had these two very nice nurses talk to me the whole time about there summer vacations and interesting things so you try and keep your mind off of it. I cried it was scary but then it was over. Chemo, wow I have only had my 1st half of the first treatment. But not so bad either. They tell you they have great nausea medicine and guess what they do! For a few days i felt tired allot and just not right like you are coming down with something but I fund one week out I felt like my old self. I am sure not an expert but you will be stronger than you think. Hope you are ok "
