My daughter just got done with her chemo. She gets another pet scan july 1 to see if it's all gone. Pray. Does any one of you have tingling and tip of your fingers hurt. Hers hurt so bad she can't open can of soda or bag of chips. Nothing. Her dr. says it's from ABVD but I haven't heard anyone else finger tips hurting that bad. Just want to hear from some of you. Thank you.

" please excuse the insensitive piece of shit above me who cant spell, 95% of this website isn't like him.

concerning your daughter, yes your doctor was right. i forgot which of the chemo drugs it is, but one of them does do that. i got it after my chemos as well, but dont worry it's just temporary. it may help to drink a lot of water so the chemo can get out of her body faster "

and coollukehand, if you really have an issue with her why don't you just message her and work it out, instead of making it public like this. I mean give her a break man, her kid has cancer. "

" Etop......I was saying that it was nasty to hear that YOU feel that 5% of YOUR group is........>>>>>insensitive piece of shit who cant spell. That certainly must hurt the 5% you are talking about.........wonder who they are???

And as for this>>>>>>>and coollukehand, if you really have an issue with her why don't you just message her and work it out, instead of making it public like this.

You might just want to ask that same question to myangleamber, as she felt it was OK to go to the Hep C sub group and call him an asshole, even though she said she admittedly NEVER read any of his posts.

So I wonder why she didn't "just message" someone on the board and ask them that, as opposed to calling him an asshole on the board???

Now I'm not saying he isn't an asshole........but for the life of me I can't understand WHY she would post that??? Unless, of course she is one of the 5% of people on this group that YOU refer to???

I mean give her a break man, her kid has cancer. "......and that means she can call people assholes???? Hep C is a disease also

~~~bear.....shaking head "
" first of all please dont talk down to me like i'm some 5 year old.
Second, if you actually read my post correctly, you would notice that i said 5% of this "website", not support group. if you take some time to do the math, it's actually a big difference.
Oh and let me specify the 5% i was talking about. Im referring to the people who go to different support groups in search of some conflict, and jump right in. They do this because apparently their lives lack this kind of conflict they crave, and their dying to get it, one way or another. i already have a pretty good idea of who these people are.
and when i was advising coollukehand, it was only in hopes that
he would be the bigger man, and do something a little more age appropriate.
in reference to this "......and that means she can call people assholes???? Hep C is a disease also"
what it means is that i think she deserves a little leeway since she's under a lot of stress being her daughters advocate, making sure the doctors are not missing anything, dealing with numerous instant changes, all while trying to assure her daughter everything going to be ok.
oh and your very smart for pointing out that hep C is a disease. i was already pretty sure that daily strength was a social network for people with problems, diseases, and disorders, but thanks for clarifying. "
" The "V" drug, vinblastine, causes peripheral neuropathy. Talk to her oncologist, but that side effect should improve and hopefully disappear over time. I have tingling/numbness in my feet and legs. My doc reduced the dose of my vinblastine, and it's much better now. Since she's done with treatment, that's clearly not an option. I wish her a clean scan and improvement with the neuropathy! "
