Hi everyone. This is all new to me and I have to tell you I am very scared.. although I think I am hiding that well from my family.

I was told I have Nodular Lymphocyte Predominant Hodgkins Lymphoma. My Oncologist has told me that it is a little rare, but can be treated none the less. My first test ( PET/CT ) is on the 28th, and even though I know this test there is not a lot to be scared of, I am terrified of the bone marrow one. :(

I have looked up info on ABVD and R-ABVD, not sure how I feel about the latter but will bring that up to him on the next appointment. I am scared of the mediport being put in as well, but I hear it is better than having them poke you each time.

sorry for rambling.. I am just scared.

" Hi Everyone.

I had my last PET scan on June 30th. I got the results on July the 3rd. GREAT news... my cancer is ALL GONE! I will be doing PET scans twice a year for three years to make sure there is no recurrence. I am very happy as well as my family.

I wish everyone going through treatment the best. Keep a positive attitude! "
