" Chemo has a tendency to reek havoc on your bowel movements. Could it be you are constipated? Or it could be just the opposite.

Also your GI tract is made of fasting growing cells which chemo kills. Your stomach could be upset from this as well.

Or it could something else...

I found I needed to eat more fiber, take a stool softener and eat bland food during chemo. I know other people that had the opposite problem and needed to cut back on the fiber. "

" My GI tract is a wreck from ABVD. Unfortunately, acid reflux, soreness of stomach, etc. is a normal daily deal for me. Chemo increases acid production in your stomach, so you might talk to your doctor about taking an acid-blocking medication like Zantac or Pepcid. "
