Frustrating Stories

Still hurting this morning from the surgery, I wonder if the pain will ever go away. Its only been 5 days since the biopsi, and the doctor said it would take up to 2 weeks for the pain to subside.
need to call the doc today to update my short term dissability or it will close on the 15th of this month.

It's been a hard week but my time is coming.If nothing else i'll be having surgery laid up for 2 months they want it done now but it just has to wait until i see whats going to happen with Mom.

I was supposed to get my second round of chemo on Monday but my white blood cell count was too low :( I got one of those lovely Neupogen shots and hopefully my counts will be better by Wednesday when they want to try again. As much as it sucks to get chemo, it was really disappointing to not be able to get it, I just want to keep going with it so I can be done.

So I am currently on day 60something post- bone marrow tranplant and I am going stark raving mad. I am living in the city.. nowhere near my precious mountain drives that I take to relieve my stress (partially because I'm not allowed to freakin drive yet). So I sit here.. doing the same shit that I've been doing for the last 5 months... absolutely nothing. You can only read so many books.....1 Recommendation

My son and I were getting ready for bed tonight.
Our nightly ritual is reading a few chapters before sleep of whatever book he is engrossed in.
I noticed he hadn't been doing his daily requirementof reading twenty minutes, so I asked him to read.

I met with my doctor before treatment yesterday and she said that even though my PET scan was clear they may not be able to reduce my treatments. I guess I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up about it, they said they will double check my markers and see but they may not be able to change it. It really sucks, I hate getting treatments so much, I just want my life back.1 Recommendation1 Comment

I must say I am at a time where I am literally baffled at the Endos here in Canada at least in Western Canda. The province I live in we have 1 Endo who in the beginning of this told me I have a prolactinoma 4mm he put me on bromo 1 full pill a day and told me to see him in a year, that this was no big deal.
