After 13 years remission I have to face the fact that the Hodgkins lymphoma is NOT gone. I've had some annoying symptoms for about a year -- itching, insomnia, sweating -- and it looks like Hodgkins is the answer. I'm disappointed to be a cancer patient again, but I'm also glad that we have an answer and that it's something I'm familiar with (and that the prognosis is so good)...1 Recommendation2 Comments

So three weeks ago, I finally got the surgery to get biopsy-able tissue. I was expecting to come out of it withough my spleen, but they found a lymph node there that worked fine. (So easier surgery and faster recovery time -- and I still have my spleen!)

So I gave up TV for Lent. 40 days and 40 nights without all the waste that surrounds watching TV.
