" Have you had your blood pressure checked for those dizzy spells? Does your face get warm and you get a headache? This could be high blood pressure! If u haven't had it checked please do! I don't know abut the rashes, I have had all kinds of rashes and some are hives for sure. Chila : ) "

" Actually each time I get a rush (not rash) and dizzy
my blood pressure drops really low. I have never had high blood pressure and it seems that my dr. says the feeling of rushes is caused by histamine releases which triggers my blood pressure to drop dramatically. I have passed out from this. I now carry an Eppi pen "

" I get these hot flushes sometimes whether its with hives or not and my face feels like its on fire but no fever and actually VERY low temp. AND LOW blood pressure all my life. Wondering if I should mention this to Doc. but thinking it will be blown off as usual. Once I had a HARSH attack of hives while pregnant and did some research about it being connected to the thyroid, my obgyn sent me to a thyroid Dr. and he seriously told me "Oh that info must have come from the Crazy Italian's" and I"M ITALIAN so it really ticked me off. Anyway, penicillin triggered my last and current round of chronic hives. "

" I know what you mean about what to or not tell the doctor! But what my husband does seems to get a better reaction no matter what he says or asks! He always starts off his questions with "Can I ask you a stupid question?" And this seems to make them feel you are not trying to sound like you know more than them! LOL! Most of them think they are smarter than us because they went to medical school and they know it all! LOL! Hope I have been of some help! Chila : ) "
