Elevated C Reactive Protien and hives

I have had hives for the last 7 months, along with an elevated C Reactive Protien. My allergist said I have autoimmune uticartia, but it is unrelated to the elevated C Reactive Protien. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

" Hi yes in my last blood work it was slightly raised i also had a slightly high esr , but then 2 weeks later i had to have emergency op for burst appendix so my dr has said it possibly was from that starting ??? i am over blood tests for the moment so i am just going to wait a little while before going for another one, i have noticed though that my hair has thinned at the front but then that could be from the operation or from the heavy dose of predisone the dr had me on in may. I will update when i get more blood done later on :) still have my hives though so it wasnt from the appendix . "

" Hi i braved up and went and got the new bloods done and just got results today all normal esr was right down and everything else completly normal so i quess it was the appendix making the levels go up. Maybe you have an infection somewhere that you dont know about.???? best of luck "
