Testing results...

Well, almost two months ago, I went and did some tests to try to determine where or not I had ADD or some form of anxiety/depression. I got the results today... and I don't have ADD, but I do have some type of anxiety/depression. But there's some really good news: the man who did the testing said that my vocabulary was spectacular for someone my age (16). He said that it was around the vocabulary of a Master's student! :D He also said that my math scores were almost off the charts, and he's never tested someone with math results as high as mine! He also said that my IQ is "extremely high". asjfslfdj I'm really excited... but at the same time really frustrated. I can never seem to get good grades (and I'm not one of those people who's all "I got a 98% on my test! ahhh that's so terrible!). So today was a very exciting day for me :)

" You are obviously in the wrong kind of school. Congrats! I'm happy that you finally got answers.

There are 2 truths that I discovered. Actually my Dad told me this. There are the top 2% that run this country (Policy Bees) and the 98% who help them achieve their goal (Worker Bees).

Schools are not an egalitarian society. Schools quickly sift out the Wheat from the Chaff. Sometimes as early as grade 4. In the past artistic people were quickly relegated to the Worker Bee status. These people are the working poor in our society. They usually pay the most taxes, work the hardest, and have the least joie de vivre. But they have lots and lots of friends to complain with. In recent years, this has begun to change. As it turns out some of the worker bees where more financially minded and careful about spending and savings. They had to--their survival depended on it. This happened while top 2% where messing up.
Also, now, with the advent of the internet, the world has become flat. No longer are we competing for jobs only amongst our native countrymen but all of the world. The dude is china may get that scholarship at the college before you. Or that job.

I guess the jest is this. Don't let the machine stick you in a slot you don't belong in. I go to a private school. We do all kinds of great things that state school doesn't ever do and kids get bored and quit. I'm trying to become a 2 percenter. "
