" I'm sorry that I don't have an answer to your question but I just wanted to say that I feel the same way...nearly all the time. If you want to talk then we can. Hope it gets better "

" I have the same problem...the exact one...at home I'm like a totally different person whose mad at everyone and depressed...when I'm not around them I'm happy

I have a theory for this: Our brain has neuron "pathways", and actions that we repeat over and over again (like fighting) have the tendency to happen more frequently because our brains are used to doing them: like eating sugar, or any habit you may have
when we get home, all of these things are "triggered"...because our families hold so much emotional weights int hem... all of our past is in them...it can be subconsciously painful to be around them..so when we react to our familie's actions, our neuron "pathways" tend to go the same way they always have: like fighting, or getting really mad really fast, because that's what they've always done: and its REALLY hard to break,
also: Ihave this problem that I'm really sensitive to other people's emotions...and since my mom is depressed all the time, this sometimes puts me in the same mood...maybe you have that too?

hope some of that helped you figure out why
but for the solution: I've been trying to just let go, catch myself when I start feeling those ways and stop it, write read exercise..anything to stop the emotion in its tracks...and not reacting to people who try to pick fights with yo u...and vice versa
meditate...stay calm..it's extremely hard for me but I've been trying to "rewire" my brain, so it can react differently...yoga really helps
good luck "

" sorry: i have to add something because I just read your other post and it explains a lot
..I had the same problem...: with school, taking really hard classes, stressing yourself out...
in school, you may not realize it, but you're bottling up a lot of emotions just being in public...having to supress that stress is very detrimental to both your physical and mental health
and when you come home...since your mind is used to having home as your "sanctuary" or sorts...or at least a place you can let go...your mind feels like it has to let go of alllllll of that...and yours and mine, do that by channeling negative emotions and getting in fights....we need to learn how to handle stress differently...and we'll be ok, just practice diff. things, find the thing that works best for you
and don't let school be your priority over the mental well-being of you and your family...its important, but not that important "

" I'm the same way. I just feel better when I'm with my friends at school. Wish I knew why too. I've gotten the "teenage hormone" response but I think that is just bs. I almost feel like my family is judging me, and my friends are not. "
