I am currently enrolled in a University and naturally I eat a lot of pizza and fast food. My doctor has requested that I begin a diet but just as soon as I begin a diet I am off of it due to the pressures of lack of time and just the fact that I really enjoy eating like crap. For the benefit of my future health I want to kick this habit but can't seem to make any progressive steps towards doing so. Any suggestions or anyone experiencing the same issue?

Yes, I have the same issue. Pizza, chocolate and high sugar consumption over many years. My blood test just came back - cholesterol is 9.1. I'm 43 in a few weeks, so if I want to see 44 - I have to cut all the crap out now.

I think its a challenge for everyone. You are not alone. Our busy modern world with rush rush rush doesn't exactly give us much oportunity to take care of ourselves like we should.
Pure determination is the key. This may involve re-engineering your schedule to take the time to eat right. It may mean going to bed a little earlier, getting up 30 minutes earlier, going for a quick jog and fixing a decent breakfast at home. It may mean stopping by the store to pick up some fresh produce and preparing the evening meal yourself. We have to live in this world, but that doesn't mean we should let the world lead us around by the nose. Take charge! You are going to take the time to take care of yourself, and you will allocate the between times to the rest of the world. The time it takes to devote to your health is NOT FOR SALE. Say good-bye to the fast food drive thru window and say goodbye to cramming down a sandwich in 1.2 minutes. From now on things are gonna be different. No one, absolutely no one can make these decisions except YOU. Now check one of the following. 1. I'm gonna do it! 2. I choose to be a diet wimp. I will let others control me. I will continue to eat processed junk with chemical additives.
