I had bad reactions from a lot of the statin drugs so now my doctor put me on Lovaza and possibly some Zetia if I can tolerate it. Anyone here ever take either of these medications?

" I have been taking Zetia for about 4 years, no reactions but I quit taking it last year, I was going to lower my cholesterol by diet and exercise. Last Nov. when I had it checked, it had gone up 100 points. My doc put me back on Zetia (she didn't know I had quit taking it) plus Lovastatin. In 90 days my cholesterol went from 291 to 155. I am now only on Zetia and doing fine. "
