I am young for high cholesterol and new to this site. when i was 16 i was found to have high cholesterol. its all genetic from my father who also has high cholesterol. My total (don't know good or bad for i am still learning now that i am old enough to care) as of a few months ago is 430 and i am only 24 years of age. I have been pounced back and forth from many different doctors no one seems to know what to do with someone my age. I am in Wilmingon NC currently do not have a family doctor. I am sick of pretending this is not something to worry about and also getting a look of disbelif and shock when i try to talk to a doctor.
If anyone has any ideas please share. I entered in all the treatments i have tried most of which have made me to sick to keep working. Thanks for any help. Sarah Posted on 05/31/07, 05:05 pm |

hey,
i too had really high cholesterol. i was going doctor to doctor, and everyone just wanted to give me differnt kind of meds. i was so fed up with all these traditional methods. i was way overweight as well. the last doc i went to, who im still seeing now, rec Dr Agtstons Heart Healthy book. it has really changed my life. i lost 50lbs in few months, im going for a check up next week, but i feel a huge difference in my health and i know it will be lower this time around. sbd is offering free week right now, http://www.southbeachdietheart.com... you can give it a try. you have nothing to lose. and also i urge you read his book. it can really help. good luck.

Hey Sarah,
I have listed a few products that would help you in lowering your cholesterol naturally - the first product is phytomega (http://www.t2straining.com/Product/10Phytomega.pdf), the second is ProvexCV (http://www.t2sweb.com/newhorizons/understandingprovexcv.html) and the third is Fiberwise (contains 12 grams of fiber per serving as like metamucil or citracil only contain 3 grams of fiber). The difference is that these products are all-natural (no additives or preservatives) and have a patent on their cellular delivery (they are actually absorbed by our bodies). Teresa
