I JUST SAW MY DR YESTERDAY.... MY B/P WAS HIGH... HE BECAME VERY CONCERNED AS WE HAD IT STABLE FOR MONTHS... YESTERDAY WAS 150/100... NEVER HAD THE 150...HE WANTS ME TO DOUBLE MY TROPOL MEDS... I USE TO TAKE 1 AT NIGHT... NOW HE WANTS ME TO TAKE IT WITH MY DIOVAN IN THE MORNING AND AT NIGHT TIME...IM GETTING MYSELF ALL WORKED UP AS IM ON ALL KINDS OF MEDS FOR GERD AS WELL... CAN THESE MEDS BE TAKEN TOGATHER... IM AFRAID I WILL OVER DOSE WITH TAKING ALL MY MEDS... IM ON 7 DIFFRENT PILLS ... 2 FOR THE B/P AND ZOCOR...PLUS MY GERD AND ANIEXTY MEDS...ANYWAYS HE HAS NO IDEA WHY IT WAS HIGH... MY EKG WAS FINE, BLOOD WORK GOOD...I WOKE UP WITH A HEADACH THIS MORNING AND STARTED TO PANIC....I DID HAVE A BLOOD PRESSURE MONITOR BUT IT WAS REALLY SCARING THE HELL OUT OF ME AS IT WOULD READ DIFFRENT THEN THE DRS SO I TRASHED IT...DONT NEED THE EXTRA STRESS...IM VERY GOOD ABOUT DIET, NO SALT...NO SODA...SHOULD I BE GETTING MYSELF THIS NERVOUS? PLEASE ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD REALLY HELP...

hi again a dye test will show if you have any blockage in your heart, that is causeing your blood pressure to go up . i have been on toprol 25 for years, i did have to go up to 50 mg , but came back down to 25, but mite have to go back up , cause my blood pressure is going up again, but i had a stent put in 1 year ago and it has done close up on me, i think that is what is making mine go up , , toprol is a old drug,
and it is good , i have tried the new drugs and dose not do me any good, plus i do not like taking te new ones , to me i will stay with the older drugs , hope you get better soon, they will find what works for you , they will have to try diffent ones , but you will find thhe one tat works best for you have a great day ,.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR REPLY... IT HELPS SO MUCH... A FEW MONTHS AGO I HAD A ULTRA SOUND ON MY HEART AND ARTERIES TO THE HEART...DR SAYS THEY ARE SOFT AND HEART WAS OK...HAD EKG AS WELL.. IM SUCH A NERVOUS PERSON WHICH I KNOW TRIGGERS MY B/P TOO GO UP...IM ON ANIEXTY MEDS FOR THAT...IT HELPS A BIT..I GUESS I GOT TO TAKE THINGS 1 STEP AT A TIME...THANK YOU AGAIN AND HAPPY 4TH
