I am currently overweight due to having a baby and the doctor told me I have HBP and mild sleep apnea because of it. I take AZOR which has helped ALOT and it is.5/20MG. I am working hard to lose weight because the doc said thats the only thing that will help me. And thats the only way he would take me off of the medication. Sometimes I get so worried that I will be on medication for the rest of my damn life. Then I worry what if I do lose weight and he takes me off what if I geT that rebound hypertention! SORRY I AM A HYPOCHONDRIAC ! I just worry too much I guess.

" did you have hbp before you gained the weight? if not then its probable the weight causing it. Rebound hypertension is due to stopping your bpm cold turkey. if you wean off of your meds, you shouldn't have a problem. Try not to worry. "
